PEG Partners is now Senderos! We hope you can come join us to celebrate.
Senderos is celebrating the launch of our new name (meaning “pathways”) and our new website with an event at White Horse Black Mountain, from 2PM to 4PM on Sunday, Nov. 5. We will have traditional Guatemalan marimba music, Guatemalan food and crafts, a raffle, and live hookup to kids in the El Tejar music program playing music from Guatemala, as well as a couple of songs from David LaMotte, who founded PEG (Senderos) in 2004 with Deanna LaMotte.
As Senderos approaches its 20th anniversary, we are looking back on these two decades with gratitude, and turning our attention toward all that is to come. Our current Board of Directors is energetically engaged and working hard to steer this growing organization toward many more years of sustainable impact.
The Hester Center for Peace and Justice at Mars Hill University and anonymous donors have covered the cost of this event so that all of the proceeds can go directly toward supporting our partner projects in Guatemala. La Bamba restaurant and Marimba Orquesta Sonora Aguateca, based in Morganton, NC, will bring a bit of authentic Guatemalan culture to the celebration.

Over the nearly 20 years that we have been working in Guatemala, PEG/Senderos has impacted the lives of thousands of children, opening pathways to possibility for a brighter future. We welcome your partnership, whether or not you can join us on Nov. 5. Thank you for helping us celebrate!
