We are sad to announce that the October 20 Senderos Celebration has been indefinitely postponed due to damage to our community from Hurricane Helene. We will keep you posted as a new plan emerges.
We had hoped to raise about $10,000 at this event to support our partners in Guatemala, and though the party is postponed, the needs are not. If you can help us support those partners, we will be deeply grateful to you for joining us in this work.
Senderos has now been working with our partners in Guatemala for twenty years, and that’s a lot to celebrate!
We are excited to announce Senderos Celebration, a special event to commemorate our 20th anniversary, on Sunday, October 20, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Highland Brewing in East Asheville.
This milestone celebration will feature a performance by acclaimed musician David LaMotte, as well as live music from students in the El Tejar Music Program, presented via live video feed. Attendees will enjoy one complimentary drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and an assortment of authentic Guatemalan finger foods. The party will be a cocktail party-style mix and mingle, with limited seating, but lots of excellent company and conversation.
Tickets for this memorable occasion are $25 per person and can be purchased online or at the door. Proceeds will go to support Senderos’ work in Guatemala. If you can’t join us, but would still like to support our work, feel free to buy a ticket anyway, or you can make a donation here.
There are also a limited number of sponsorships available for the event, with prime seating, promotion, and other benefits. Visit our Sponsorship page to learn more.
Join us for an evening of music, culture, and community as we celebrate two decades of making a difference through Senderos Guatemala.
